Brokenbeat is a night thrown by my good friends Walk-Nasty and Carlito Headset aka El Poeta. The fellas have been going strong for more than a minute now and they are all about the music and the dancefloor and charging no cover and designing cool flyers and keeping shit going whether 10 people show up or 100 people show up. I love their attitude and their dedication and I’m happy to finally put myself in the Brokenbeat archives soon.
